Hong Lee Road Rest Garden

休憩處地處觀塘樂意山沿著康利道拐彎處南側的護土坡上，建於1979年，場地周邊為觀塘半山傳統低密度住宅區。休憩處以四個圓形平台層層疊進，平台間以花圃串聯，創造不同高度的視角和豐富的空間節點。其中三個直徑12米的平台設有涼亭、長椅和半身高的種植池，以同心六邊形形態展開；直徑15米的大平台則設計成開放廣場，長椅沿著廣場的邊緣擺放。使用者在休憩處可毫無阻隔地飽覽牛頭角、九龍灣商貿區乃至維港的風光，構成了場所、時間和體驗的一部分。

The sitting-out area, built in 1979, is located on the retaining slope of Kwun Tung’s Crocodile Hill, on the south along the bend of Hong Lee Road, and surrounded by typical low-density residential areas of Kwun Tong Mid-levels. The sitting-out area comprises four circular platforms that are connected by flowerbeds, creating various height perspectives and spatial nodes. Among the four platforms, three with 12-metre diameters are equipped with pavilions, benches and waist-height planting beds, spread out in concentric hexagons. The large platform of 15-metre diameter is designed as an open plaza with benches placed along its edge. Users of the rest garden can enjoy scenic views of Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon Bay Business Area and even the Victoria Harbour without obstructions.
