The Kwai Chung Castle Peak Road Sitting-out Area is located at the site bounded by Kwai Chung Road, Castle Peak Road (including flyovers), the intersection of the pedestrian bridge system and two adjacent industrial buildings. The crossing stairs at the entrance of the footbridge on Kwai Chung Road are approaching like a curtain layer upon layer, and the piers of the Castle Peak Road flyover surround the site in a fluid manner, like striking towers. The centre of the sitting-out area is surrounded by a three-layer annular tree array, which has a great sense of stage space; in the corner near the road stands a Ficus elastica with a trunk diameter of about 5 metres, and its canopy can cover half of the venue. Chukrasia tabularis and Roystonea regia scramble upward and cross the overpass to absorb sunlight and nutrients.
