Kwai Hei Street Sitting-out Area

葵喜街東端起點和與葵福路上坡點的交匯處，和一冷凍倉庫大樓之間有個不起眼的小場地，以不足700平方米成就了日常的自然。葵喜街休憩處小巧卻緊湊，三個菱形的細葉欖仁樹池沿著入口徑直排開，兩邊盡是不規則波折線的紅磚花圃揚至場地盡頭，配以球形紅花檵木，富有幾何意味。由於休憩處疏於打理，野菊等地被植物翻過花圃，悄悄地入侵至休憩處的地面和座椅，靠近葵福路不經修剪的灌木花叢肆意生長卻顯得狂野。

A barely noticeable small site sits at the intersection between the east end of Kwai Hei Street, the uphill point of Kwai Fuk Road and a cold storage warehouse building—a normative space of less than 700 square metres for daily activities. The Kwai Hei Street Sitting-out Area is small but compact, with three rhomboid planters of Terminalia mantaly lined up along the entrance and irregular zigzagged red brick flower beds on both sides, extending to the end of the site. The flower beds are planted with Loropetalum chinense f. rubrum as a geometric expression. Due to the neglect of the site, wild chrysanthemum and other ground covers have retaken the flower beds, quietly invading the surfaces and seats of the sitting-out area. Unpruned shrubs and flowers near Kwai Fuk Road also convey a sense of wildness.
