The sitting-out area is located in a sunken open space surrounded by the north roundabout of Lung Cheung Road. It can only be accessed by crossing major trunk roads, connecting through circuitous sidewalks, or passing the pedestrian tunnel. Its low accessibility has led to a relatively small number of users. The sitting-out area consists of a 30-metre-long corridor and a 1600-square-metre lawn. The lawn is planted with 20 tall Archontophoenix alexandrae. The tall and dense tree array enhances the sense of spaciousness of the area through verticality. Their canopies, like umbrellas, stretch out to provide shade for the open area. Activities and the adjacent covered corridor can be seen along the path, which is interspersed amongst the tree arrays.
