荃景圍遊樂場及休憩花園

Tsuen King Circuit Recreation Ground and Rest Garden

荃景圍位於下花山山腳的東南角，以迴環型道路圍合了住宅、醫院、學校和休憩用地而自成一角。荃景圍遊樂場及休憩花園以一塊平地的形式嵌入荃威花園的後山，設有足球場、乒乓球場、大型涼亭、花圃，以線條硬朗的走廊串連各異的空間體感。休憩花園部分位於場地沿著荃景圍的入口處，以長約20米的鵝卵石按摩步道作為對稱軸，三角涼亭和座椅規整地向兩邊展開，一邊背向馬路，另一邊背靠球場的觀眾席階梯。在中心軸的首未兩段分別設有太極廣場和遮蔭廊，為長者提供全天候戶外活動的小環境。

Tsuen King Circuit is located at the southeast corner of the foothill of Ha Fa Shan. The circular road encloses residential, hospital, school and open space. Tsuen King Circuit recreation ground and rest garden are flatly embedded into the posterior hillside of Allway Gardens. Football fields, table tennis courts, large pavilions and flower gardens within the complex are connected by distinctively linear corridors that diversify visitors’ spatial experiences. The rest garden is located at the entrance of the site along Tsuen King Circuit. The 20-metre-long cobblestone massage trail serves as an axis of symmetry, reflecting the spread-out triangular pavilions and seats on both sides, with one side facing the road and the other facing the ladder up the stadium audience. The two ends of the central axis are equipped with a Tai Chi square and a shaded corridor, a small environment for the elderly to enjoy all-weather outdoor activities.
