Lok Fung Path Rest Garden

樂楓徑位於火炭九肚山山脊以南，其一帶區域原有多所建於70年代末、80年代初的公務員合作舍、政府和高等學府的職員宿舍。現時這些宿舍多數已經出售或重建成為豪宅項目。樂楓徑休憩花園與周邊的宿舍樓同期建設，夾於樂楓徑6號和10號政府宿舍之間，於1985年啟用。因為場地建於土地平整後的擋土坡頂的臺地上，地勢之下為禾寮坑山谷，於此處可盡享城門河和沙田景色，成為宿舍區的交互式公共場域。場地甚為舒朗開闊，被種有黃花夾竹桃和黃葛樹的種植池環繞四周，並以折線線條將廣場劃分為四個區域，分別設有健身和遊樂園地、大型中式涼亭和卵石路步行徑。沿著種植池的邊緣，設有6個遮陰亭，並將長椅掛靠在種植池壁，形成連續的整體。

Located to the south of the Kau To Shan in Fo Tan, the area around Lok Fung Path was originally built in the late 1970s and early 1980s as the civil servants co-operative houses and staff quarters for government and higher education institutions. Most of these residences have now been sold or redeveloped into luxury residential developments. The Lok Fung Path Rest Garden was built concurrently with the adjacent government quarters, sandwiched between two quarters at 6 and 10 Lok Fung Path, and was opened in 1985. The site is built on a terrace at the top of a land-levelled retaining slope and above Wo Liu Hang Valley, becoming an interactive public area with views of the Shing Mun River and Sha Tin. The rest garden is very spacious, surrounded by planting beds with Thevetia peruviana and Ficus virens. The garden is divided into four areas by broken lines, fitted with playing facilities, fitness equipment, a large Chinese pavilion and a pebbled walking trail respectively. Along the edge of the planting beds are six shaded pavilions with benches hung against the wall of planting beds to form a continuous whole.
