Wo Yi Hop Road Rest Garden

和宜合道休憩花園位於一條長約45米，連接兩條地勢不一道路和夾於兩棟住宅底座的不具名橫巷內。東、西端分別由高4米及1.5米的樓梯接大白田街及和宜合道，小巷的南北樓宇間的距離約13米。小巷的南面有幾間倒閉或待租的店鋪，臨街的傢私店店主們都將家具組件或是棄置的雜物堆放到休憩花園的座椅旁；北面只有兩間食店尚在營業，其餘也是大門深鎖的鋪位。種有魚尾葵和蒲葵樹的低矮花圃筆直地沿著小巷的中軸鋪設，維繫此處僅有的生機，嘗試調和街道的凋敝和沉寂感。

The Wo Yi Hop Road rest garden is located in a 45-metre-long unnamed alley that connects two uneven roads and is between foundations of two residential buildings. The east and west ends are connected to Tai Pak Tin Street and Wo Yi Hop Road by stairs of 4-metre and 1.5-metre heights, respectively, whereas the north and south buildings are spaced 13 metres apart. On the south side of the alley are several closed or for-lease shops. Roadside store owners litter furniture components and discarded sundries around the benches of the rest garden. On the north end, only two restaurants are still open, whereas the rest are locked tight. The only signs of life found are the short flower beds planted with Caryota mitis and Livistona chinensis along the alley’s central axis, perhaps as reconciliation for the withering emptiness of the street.
